With this feature, chatting or calling close friends or loved ones will become very easy, eliminating the need to scroll through the contacts list.
This feature will prove helpful for users who receive numerous messages daily and find it difficult to track messages from favorite contacts.
The Favorites filter will help users quickly access messages from important contacts and groups, but they will need to add those contacts to the Favorites list.
The company has been testing this feature for several months, and now it has been introduced to users.
The company has stated that the rollout of the Favorites tab has started and this feature will be available to all users in the coming weeks.
How to use the feature?
- On the chat screen, click on the Favorites filter, and the selected contacts will appear.
- In the calls section, click on Add Favorite to add your preferred contacts to the Favorites list.
- Similarly, in the settings, you can go to the Favorites option to add your preferred contacts to the Favorites list.
